Where It Started
In 2018, Bob Toor — founder of Root Herbal — was told by his doctor to start cholesterol medication on top of the hypertension medication he was already taking. He refused to accept that this was simply how things were.
Inspired by his father, a massage therapist with over 15 years of experience, Bob began exploring Ayurvedic medicine and functional approaches to health. He made targeted lifestyle changes, sourced herbal supplements directly from India, and within months had reversed his cholesterol, lost 8kg, and reduced 10cm from his waist.
He never took the cholesterol medication. Today, he takes no prescribed medication at all.
That experience didn't just change Bob's health — it changed his understanding of what health actually is. Not the absence of a diagnosis. Not numbers inside a reference range. But a body operating at its full functional potential, free from the obstacles quietly holding it back.
